Ground handling wing


Adama (translation “Earth”) is a ground handling training wing.
Designed to be used in almost all wind conditions, it will simulate the behaviour of a full scale wing to train for the best practices without risking the equipment and more importantly the user’s safety.
Adama is equally suited to both free flying or paramotor pilots wishing for the right training tool to perfect their inflation and ground handling skills. Dedicated use of the Adama will result in impressive mastering of your wing.
Reverse launch, cobra inflation/deflation techniques, and full ground control are now all in short reach for any pilot training with the Adama.
The Adama is also a great toy for anyone to play with.
Family, especially kids can enjoy it, introducing them to the sport while keeping them entertained.
Pilots should take it out and train whenever the wind is not good for take-off – as practice makes perfect.
In any open space or in the nearest park, inflation training is always an attention grabber!

Hybrid

Designed specifically for paramotor flight

A truly revolutionary design – The APCO Hybrid.
The Hybrid represents the first wing in this class – a new category of wing in our sport, with unprecedented flying characteristics. This unique design combines a classic double surface profile with a single surface profile, together creating a hybrid profile.
Putting aside all the hype – this wing must be flown to be believed!

Specifically for Paramotor, the Hybrid possess characteristics which will shine on early morning flights and days with nil wind. Front launch and take-off sequence are without a doubt the next step in our sport!  The Hybrid’s take-off and landing speed is lower than comparable wings, making it easier and safer. In the air, the Hybrid is an ultra stable wing in terms of both roll and pitch. The brakes are more efficient than any other classic profile wing and the brake pressure is below anything you have ever tried! The Hybrid is not intended to replace reflex profile paramotor wings which excel at high speeds and in rough air. On the contrary, it is perfect for cruising around, making the entire flight envelope easier, calmer and more enjoyable.

Certified in EN-B category, with all but 2 manoeuvres rated EN-A indicating the real life safety of this unique design!

The advantages of this concept both in free flight and paramotor are almost unbelievable! The Hybrid is much more than an exotic wing for special purposes. It offers many advantages over single skin designs and also classic wings in beginner to sport categories. Hybrid wings will become mainstream products within a few years, replacing many classic designs out there. We are proud that APCO is behind such an innovation!
This project has been long and difficult but we are sure the term “Hybrid” will be forever coined into our sport!
Background
This project started off as a concept, an idea that we wanted to explore but never expected what we found! The initial test flights of the first prototype were so impressive that we virtually dropped all other projects in an effort to bring this wing to the market. After 2 years of intense R&D we launched the HYBRID!
The Hybrid must be flown to believe all the “hype” around it, but we promise you it is that SPECIAL! Any pilot that had the chance to try it was amazed and after only 1 flight, convinced that this concept is here to stay!
The Hybrid is light (3 kg), but not designed to be a “Lightweight” wing. the absence of bottom surface on the back part of the wing saves weight but is also what makes it fly in such a special way.

Karisma

Beginner to intermediate pilots; paramotor or free-flight


As it’s name suggests, the KARISMA is a wing with a personality of its own.
It is the type of wing which takes all the advantages of paragliding and emphasizes those advantages to complete the best flying experience for beginner to intermediate pilots.
The KARISMA is the Evolution of the Karma EVO. It possesses all the Karma virtues but has been fully redesigned from the ground up, and presents significant improvement in all aspects to be a worthy addition to APCO’s range.
Constructed with the students in mind, and instructors feedback – it is super easy glider to fly – Simple and straight forward.
A new specially developed APP type profile (Sharknose) was used.
Our APP profile is instrumental in contributing to the safety of the wing by increasing and retaining internal pressure of the canopy across the entire speed range. It is a big step in passive safety, but an even bigger step in providing the pilot with an exciting flight experience. KARISMA is well balanced, combining excellent handling with outstanding performance and pilot friendly behavior.
Three line construction that converges into a clean and simple to understand 3 leg riser makes inflation and ground handling a breeze – no messy risers and lines tangled in reverse launch anymore. Reflex paramotor wing


The LIFT EZ is born.
A perfect wing which is even better and easier to fly than any wing you knew before.
The LIFT EZ is a completely new design that aims to fulfill the expectations of the most discriminating pilots. Different designs were tested during development to assess the best option.
Without regard to paraglider type: conventional, shark nose or reflex, we wanted the best.
And the winner is…….
The LIFT EZ based on our new reflex profile!
This design emerged superior to rest of the designs, including the prototype based on the latest generation “sharknose” profile.
Perhaps you were expecting the recent trend sharknose profile to win, but it was not the case. Our Reflex was the best!
The new wing has turned out to be a great all round paramotor wing – named LIFT EZ . (EZ is for “EASY” – Just because flying it is so damn easy!!) The LIFT EZ continues the legacy of LIFT – similar feel, trim speed and speed range, but there is difference.

LIFT EZ-R :: R for Racing!
The LIFT EZ-R is a new, more advanced version of LIFT EZ with the same easy characteristics, but with much improved agility, handling and fun factor!
The vast improvement in handling was achieved by incorporating the already proven
ABS2® (Auto Balance System) into the LIFT EZ-R. On this second revision of the ABS system, we have designed it to be “transparent” to the pilot. It is completely automatic and does not require any additional action or operation from the pilot.
The additional stability which the ABS2® system provides at accelerated flight, allowed us to retrim the LIFT EZ into a much more agile “racing” version!
The LIFT EZ-R is now the most versatile wing out there, it can be used from schooling to advanced weekend pilots and will provide more fun and excitement with the same safety and easy use as expected from the LIFT EZ family.
LIFT EZ-R :: targeted at pilots who have graduated from the training phase and looking to upgrade to a more exciting wing – weekend warriors.

RETROFIT- upgrading LIFT 2EZ into LIFT EZ-R
If the pilot is introduced to our sport, then there is no question that LIFT 2EZ is the right and best choice. After gaining some experience, feeling comfortable with the wing, it is possible to upgrade LIFT 2EZ into LIFT EZ-R.

NRG XC II

Competition, cross-country wing


NRG XC was designed on the foundations of the NRG PRO. It has the same advantages of a professional slalom racing wing in a XC oriented package!
It is a small, safe wing that allows fast flying for cross country ventures, expanding the possibilities for any experienced pilot.
NRG XC II– is a second generation of NRG XC, improved in all parameters of the wing.
One of the main upgrades we made was incorporation of the ABS® – Automatic Balance System – Industry first, pioneered by APCO.
Following the market feedback from Force II about ABS®, it was the natural next step for NRG XC. It improved the wing dramatically, shaping it as an even better XC oriented wing and polarizing the difference between flying at trim speed and accelerated flight.
At trim speed – always restless, super agile, fast wing with quick responses and incredible flying rush.
At accelerated flight the ABS® system comes into play automatically – generating a stable, efficient cross country machine.
ABS® is a system which automatically and gradually pulls down the tip steering as you release the trimmers and push the speed bar. This action stabilizes the wing , cancelling roll movement, “planting” the pilot under the center of the canopy.
This outstanding roll stability gives the pilot the best and most efficient flying path at high speeds! It is on cross country flights or when chasing down a friend that the ABS® system comes into play.
The ABS® system will get you from point A to B in the fastest way possible with no pilot input.
On trim speed, the system is not activated, allowing dynamic flight tuned for thrill and agility as should be with a true slalom racing wing.
With the ABS® tip steering handles together with the main 2D brakes in hand your every touch will be rewarded with an energetic and precise response , satisfying even the most demanding pilots!
Additional difference between the XC and the PRO is the line set. TheNRG XC II uses sheathed lines for improved durability on harsh take-off surfaces. Top lines are are life-time warrantied, embedded hook-in points EHP® for improved aerodynamics.
The SRS® system will come into play whenever the pilot makes an error that causes stall behavior. It will automatically protect the pilot by lowering the angle of attack if the wing goes into a stall/parachutal/spin.
We have recently received warm praise from a pilot noticing how the SRS® saved him from stall/spin situation when exiting a spiral incorrectly.

The fast one


The Fast One :: F1 – the pinnacle of achievement in technology, performance and feel. A precision tool that in the right hands will produce incomparable results. Our objectives were to produce the best performing high end cross country wing on the market. Safety was the first priority which framed all other parameters and we are extremely proud of the final result.

The F1 is in a class of its own! A cross country wing, intended for classic competitions – a fast, efficient flying machine, but yet as agile as a slalom wing when you want to play. Combining high aspect ratio with a full reflex profile results in performance and efficiency which are packaged into a very user friendly, coherent product that will take any experienced pilot to the next level!
Incorporated into the F1 is our Flow Aligned Ribs (FAR) feature, morphing direction from center to tip, it aligns the ribs with the natural direction of the flow, increasing both performance and stability throughout the speed range. The roll stability of the F1 is especially impressive, allowing for agile, precise handling.
The canopy incorporates 2 functional “3D cuts” for the best possible leading edge shape definition.
The canopy sail tension has been optimized to be a homogeneous unit, solid and reassuring in flight.
The riser / speed system / trim system was re-designed to incorporate all of Apco’s groundbreaking technologies, and has a greater usable range than any wing we have built before. The extensive speed range means you can launch and land at reasonable speeds, but can accelerate (speeds of up to 80 [km/hour]) with comfort during competition, or on the perfect long distance XC flight you’ve been dreaming about – but, be warned, unless your mates are on the F1 too, you will be flying alone!
With the trimmers closed, the F1 will thermal well, and has exceptional glide ratio (for a full reflex profile wing), so if you like to mix it up on a good day, idle or cut the motor and crank it up to cloudbase with ease.
Open the trimmers and enjoy a significant speed increase of approx. 15 [km/h] (without the use of the speed bar).
Choose the speed bar and the OAA system will allow you to accelerate to the maximum in one swift motion!
Construction – weight was saved wherever possible, bringing the weight down to as low as 4 [kg] while retaining APCO’s legendary durability. The low canopy mass, allowing surprisingly easy inflation, especially in nil wind take-offs.
Positioned as the top performing wing in our range, it will satisfy any experienced pilot who can settle for nothing but the best!
